The scholarship recipients will get a full tuition fee waiver, a monthly stipend to cover living expenses, a one-time air ticket coverage to travel to Singapore and back to the home country, and a relocation allowance.   • Nelson Mandela Scholarships:

This scholarship is by the INSEAD business school of Singapore. Students from sub-Saharan African countries are eligible to apply. Applicants should be enrolled in the INSEAD MBA program and must be financially incapable of paying for INSEAD’s tuition. They should also have a sense of community and empathy and are obligated to return to their home countries upon graduation. Each recipient will receive funding worth 22,700 USD.

  • Singapore Government Scholarships:

These scholarships by the Singaporean government are available at the undergraduate to postgrad level to students coming from South East Asia. The universities affiliated are NUS, Singapore Management University, and Nanyang Technological University. Students must be studying in any one of the aforementioned schools and should have excellent academic backgrounds. It is a fully-funded award and covers all educational and living expenses of its recipients.

  • S P Jain School of Global Management Scholarships:

These scholarships are very competitive and are aimed at students who come from an underrepresented country. Applicants should have above-average scores on their aptitude tests and/or GRE/GMAT tests. The undergraduate scholarship is worth up to 18,000 USD (with 3,000 USD being the smallest award). The scholarship is renewable for up to four years and is given in the form of a tuition fee waiver. Students, however, are supposed to finance their living expenses by themselves.

  • National University of Singapore Scholarships:

The National University of Singapore (NUS) is awarding NUS scholarships in the fields of Science and Engineering. Available at the graduate level (Ph.D. and Master’s), this scholarship is sponsored by the commonwealth. Hence, the students applying should also be from one of the commonwealth countries. The metric for selection is the previous academic record, GRE scores, and level of English language proficiency. 

Recipients will get a 100% tuition fee waiver, accommodation coverage, textbooks coverage, a monthly stipend, access to technical and study-related materials, and involvement in field-related symposiums. The period of funding is up to four years.

  • Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Awards:

These NTU scholarships are completely merit-based and are available at the undergraduate to postgrad level. The applicants are required to submit the scholarship form along with the admission form. There are a number of benefits associated with this grant like tuition fee waiver, participation in program-related conferences, relocation coverage, one-time airfare, textbooks allowance, monthly stipend, access to technical equipment, etc.

  • INSEAD Scholarships:

Greendale Foundation is offering scholarships to those students who are incapable of financing their MBA at INSEAD. Students from South and East Africa will be given preferential treatment. Students should have a sound academic background and should belong to the working class. The tuition fee waiver under this Singaporean scholarship program is up to 39,700 USD.
