1# Scholarships by the Romanian Ministry of Foreign affairs:

Students who belong to countries that are located outside of the EU can apply for scholarships from the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The scholarships are open for students to study for bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D.

The subject areas affiliated are petroleum, administrative sciences, education, art, Romanian culture, and architecture. Students who will get the scholarship will get free accommodation on the university campus and a full tuition fee waiver. They will also be entitled to receive a nominal amount per month as a stipend.

2# Transilvania Academica Scholarships:

These scholarships are open for students at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. International students studying in the Brasov city of Romania can apply for this scholarship. Applicants could be studying in any subject area.

The recipients of Transilvania Scholarships will get a monthly stipend which will be a total of 600 LEU, alongside getting a 100% tuition and admission fee concession. They will also get in-house accommodation as part of their scholarship. The travel expenses to and from their home countries will have to be paid by the recipients themselves.

3# Scholarships by the Bucharest Summer University:

The scholarships by the Bucharest Summer University are open for both Romanian nationals and foreign students. These scholarships allow students to study summer courses for free. The essay is about the Business Model of Europe in 2030. This will help the evaluation committee understand the students’ intellect in the field of business, policy-making, and globalization.

4# Scholarships by the New Europe College:

The scholarships by the New Europe College in Romania are for students who want to engage in post-doctoral level research. The topics of research are fashion, social status, and luxury. The geographical area within which this research is focused in South-Eastern Europe. This fellowship will require two years and the recipients will get 2000 EUR per month as a monthly stipend or salary. Applying for this scholarship requires the applicants to have a doctoral degree and an impressive history of research and publications.

There is another fellowship offered by the New Europe College. This fellowship is for international students with a Ph.D. degree in economics, social studies, humanities, or any other relevant field. Students applying must be under 40 years of age and upon getting selected, they will get a monthly salary of 700 EUR, free of cost accommodation and airfare for traveling to and from their home countries once a year.

The New Europe College fellows who commit to staying in Romania for a full year will get a chance to do research outside of Romania for a month. For that, applicants might receive 2,600 EUR to afford transportation and housing.

5# The Seton-Watson Scholarships:

The sponsor of this scholarship is the Romanian Cultural Institute. It is a research scholarship of three months. During this time the scholarship recipients will conduct research on topics like culture, social sciences, management, and literature.

Applicants should be enrolled in a master’s or doctoral program in any of the above concentrations. The recipients will get a stipend of around 3,000 EUR. This scholarship is only open to international students.

The University of POLITEHNICA awards UPB Excellence Scholarships to applicants of non-EU regions via the Bucharest Grant Scholarships program. UPB offers admissions in undergrad, postgrad, and doctoral degree programs on scholarships as well.
