Doha Institute for Graduate Studies was established independently, the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) is an institution of higher academic learning. DI provides Postgraduate Masters’s programs in two internationally credentialed schools:
- The School of Public Administration and Development Economics and
- The School of Social Sciences and Humanities.
The Institute takes a multidisciplinary attitude, using Arabic as its main language for research and studies and requiring proficiency in English. In November 2024, it began offering a Ph.D. degree as well. The DI is a private, non-profit institute that exists solely for academic, research, and public service objectives.
Every year, the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies awards a range of scholarships to high-achieving eligible students from both inside and outside Qatar. Scholarships are offered on a variety of criteria; some are associated with student merit and competitiveness, whereas others are focused on financial needs.
